The farm operates a modern dairy production with approximately 1,000 milking cows. The animals are milked three times a day. The job duties may include milking, moving cattle, animal care (calves, heifers, and cows), feeding, scraping manure, washing stables, sanitation, managing the manure facility, and general maintenance.

Essential qualities of the applicant:

• Willing to work hard and tolerate exposure to manure and hot/cold weather.
• Eager to learn new things and function well in a group.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English and/or Swedish.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual work.
• Interest in dairy production and the willingness to handle cattle safely and respectfully.

About the job

• The farm operates 24/7; shift work and irregular hours are part of the job.
• Work is required 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays.
• This is a full-time position.
• Pets are not allowed at the workplace.
• Applicants with their own cloven-hoofed animals are discouraged due to contamination risks.
• Note: Poor bus connections to the workplace.

Experience and education

No specific demands on education or experience are made, as all training is provided internally by the company.
